On 8-12-2015, Mr. Madhu Sudhan of CIVIC Bangalore, presented on waste management at the meeting of BBMP officials

and Corporator to launch “Zero Waste Campiagn at Nagawara Ward. The BBMP officials announced the appointments of around 30 pourkaramikara only to sweep the roads and bylanes of the ward. Seggregation of waste from household is the thrust area of the campiagn. The activists of Swamy Vivekananda Youth Movement, Residents Associations of Veerannapalya and niegbouring wards of Nagwara Ward participated in the programme.
