Kathyayini Chamaraj. Mrs. – Executive Trustee
A freelance journalist based in Bangalore, writing for over 23 years on development issues, mainly for Deccan Herald. She has worked extensively with Government of Karnataka on child labour and primary education. She is involved with several organisations and social movements, especially the Right to Food and Work Campaign. She is a recipient of the ‘Journalism for Human Rights’ Award for 1997 given by PUCL, among others.
Dr. Manjulika Vaz – Trustee
A freelance development consultant. She specializes in organization development for the non profit sector as well as government agencies. She also facilitates inter-organizational development and change through action research and client training workshops. A member of the Institutional Ethical Review Board, St John’s Medical College & Hospital, Bangalore, Reviewer of SAGE publications and Independent Assessor of Credibility Alliance, she has several publications to her credit.
Mrs. Asha Kilaru – Trustee
Is Member of state working group of the Janaaroghya Andolaan Karnataka (the People’s Health Movement),JAAK representative to the Dept of Women and Child Development (DWCD) health and nutrition committee to address malnutrition in children 0-6 yrs of age, developed detailed recommendations and guidelines for DWCD and Dept of Health and Family Welfare, Assisting in various evaluation projects between JAAK and the State Health Resource Center, Govt of Karnataka.

He attained superannuation from Bangalore University as Professor of Political Science in 2016. His areas of specialization include Indian Government and Politics/ Development Politics and Administration, and Gandhian Studies. He was a Fulbright Fellow in the USA in 2003. He was invited to deliver Guest Lectures at the United Nations University, Tokyo in 2007 and 2008. The books he has edited include ‘The Angry Voter’, ‘Uniting in Responsibilities in a Culture of Rights’, ‘Excellence in Administration: Prospects and Perspectives’, and ‘Governance and Development in Karnataka’. He is currently Hon. Professor at the Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University, Gadag; Chairman, CIVIC, Bangalore; Managing Trustee of Sarvodaya International Trust; and Secretary, Karnataka Regional Branch of the Indian Institute of Public Administration.
