About Civil Society Forum

A coalition of several civil society organisations  and movements as well as individuals wishing to strengthen the electoral and democratic process in our city and state to  make it more participatory and reflective of the real wishes of the people. The member organisations and individuals work in different sectors of urban and rural constituencies, engaging with diverse and marginalised communities in Karnataka and other states too. The Forum was actively involved in interacting with political parties, submitting Manifestoes during the Karnataka Assembly Elections in 2013 and 2018, the Lok Sabha Elections in 2014 and 2019 and the BBMP Elections in 2015 too.
