Our Executive Trustee Mrs. Kathyayini Chamaraj in the on-line version of ‘The Hindu’ has spoken today on the need to bring in a fresh amendment to the Citizenship Act to ensure that no genuine citizen gets excluded from the electoral roll or citizenship and do away with the retrospective exercise of demanding proof of citizenship through the SIR against our historical tradition of assimilating migrants.
