Outcomes

·     In The Ration card provided there are error in the print which will be rectified.

·     The officer has inspected the PDS shops and was able to rectify some lacunas and will look into other shortly (after election).

·     The slips are available at the cost of Rs.40/- in place of Ration cards.  The ration cards will be made available after conducting the needed verification.

·     Ration cards are available in Yellow, Blue, BPL & Anthyodya

·     Provisions:

·     Rice – 4 to 20 Kg for family members from 1 to 5 respectively

·     Wheat  - 1 to 3Kg for family members from 1 to 5 respectively

·     Kerosene – 1 to 7ltrs for family members from 1 to 5 respectively

·     Sugar – 1 kg

Note: Rice, Wheat & Kerosene are provided regularly in all days until the stock ceases.  But sugar is given one time as the stock arrives. Oil will be distributed after 10th of every month.

·     The PDS shop will be open in all days from 8am to 12pm and 4pm to 8pm.

·     If the shop is closed the information has to be displayed before the shop mentioning the time of reopening.

·     Every card holder has to receive the sanctioned items. If not, it has to be complained (Written) within the respective month.

·     “Jagruthi Samithi” – 7 member committee from the respective area will be responsible for examining and evaluating the PDS shops.

·     Every Month they will submit the report with signature to the Food inspector.

·     The report consists of problems, items distributed and the left over items.

·     Collection of Problem List,  explanation of new schemes will be discussed after election

Problems discussed

·        Not distributed according to the sanctions mentioned.

·        Shop is not opened regularly and according to the time mentioned.

·        Threatening words by the Shop owners.

Decisions

·        List of Members in Jagruthi Samithi will be provided by the officer.

·        Reformation of Samithi can be done, process should be followed.

·        Collection of bill for the rcvd materials.

·        To write and sign in the ledger for the Items received. Educated members to take active and responsible role.

·        If there is discrepancy, bring to the notice of officer.

·        To give information to Mr. Nagu and Mr. Venkatesh when the items are lifted and arrived at the shop by the officer.

·        The officer to be present on the distribution day.

·        No connection to the PDS and the house distribution, hence no one can threaten on this point.
