Pramila, resident of RG Nagar has got temporary card usually she used to get 12 kg of rice for 4 units. After this program she was able to question the shop owner on entitlement of her card and also tried to call food inspector regarding this issue. But the shop owner accepted give her full entitlement of 16 kg of rice and requested her to not to complaint.

  • Usually shop owners used to forced card holders to purchase other commodities from their shop. Now he has stopped forcing them instead they requests the consumers if required they could buy other commodities from their shop.
  • Measurement in kerosene is slightly improved.
  • Shop owner is insisting everyone to come in queue including policemen.
  • Shop owners insist their workers to behave politely with consumers which were not a practice earlier.
  • Shop owners inviting bold women to be on vigilance committee.
  • Cards holders demand for their entitlements. If any issue arises they argue with the shop owners and even call food inspector to solve the issue.
  • Though shop owners are now providing entitlement of the card holders of RG Nagar, their behavior towards the card holders of other area remains the same.
